In the United Kingdom many FTSE 100 Companies have Social Responsibility Programmes which drive their own and their Suppliers' activities. Worldwide the same trend is emerging as Companies, large and small, realise that their Customers expect good corporate behaviour particularly in respect of their Suppliers' treatment of people and the environment.

LeafTc Ltd specialises in systems which promote continuous improvement in Social Responsibility in the production, processing and supply of agricultural products. Using our extensive knowledge and experience of integrated crop management, we are able to provide a specialist, bespoke service to Manufacturers, Wholesalers & Retailers to manage the monitoring and on-site reviews of suppliers in the global agricultural sector.

Our in-house SRTP programme examines a number of agronomic aspects of the Supplier's crop production, plus environmental and health and safety aspects of raw material processing, including climate change issues, child labour, capacity building and guiding policy.

Manufacturers/Retailers:

Any/all of your Suppliers can be briefed, and on-site Reviews of their performance conducted on your behalf.

Your Suppliers' performance can be regularly monitored and reported to keep you in touch with their status.

Suppliers:

Manufacturers require Suppliers to complete self-assessment Annual Returns including forward looking Action Plans.

Manufacturers also require on-site Reviews to verify the accuracy of supplier declarations.

Suppliers can be prepared for a review by taking local management through the process on-site, pointing out areas of concern, checking required documentation and evaluating current levels against observations.

Agro Industries:

The coffee, tea, tobacco, timber, pulp & paper, etc. Manufacturers, and Retailers of Agro Industry products (e.g. the DIY trade) will find that the SRTP System is applicable to their situation.
